I've always loved reading Nancy Carlson's I Like Me! to preschoolers because when that self-loving pig sees herself in the mirror, she says, "Hi, good looking!"
A few days ago Arya's mom and former Woodland Park 3-5's chair Sarah, posted this on my Facebook wall. This little girl is Teacher Tom, The Fonz, and Nancy Carlson's little pig all rolled into one. You will enjoy it.
May you feel like Jessica all day.
Awwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww. I love that. What a great way to start the day. I think I should climb up onto my sink tomorrow morning.
ReplyDeleteI hope your Monday is filled with smiles and happiness and unlimited hugs from little people.

I was totally going to post that video on my blog last week! Isn't she something? I would love to have her or a child just like her in my class!
ReplyDeleteThat just made my day!
ReplyDeleteI love this!! How totally awesome:)
ReplyDelete@Kristin . . . I think everyone in the world should see this video. I hope everyone who sees it feels compelled to pass it along!
ReplyDeleteWhat a little cutie Tom! My daughters (aged 17 and 24) keep watching Jessica over and over ... I can hear them chuckling in the next room! It's nice to know Jessica's cheerfulness is contagious!
ReplyDeleteDonna :) :)
My son, almost 4, created a similar song earlier this week, except it was outside at 6:15 in the morning, and at the top of his lungs - our neighbors must love us!! There's nothing better than hearing, "I love my mommy" being sung to the neighborhood as you try to wake up :)
