It is encouraging to see your work, because I think it is important for young children to have male role models. I look forward to reading more!Sheilahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05625950990926813867noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-15932919.post-75515527465207632612012-03-14T13:15:06.686-07:002012-03-14T13:15:06.686-07:00Oh oh oh! I hate suffering. I have stretchy trousers that dry quickly - warmer ones for the winter months, thinner ones for the summer months. I even wear quick dry underpants on wet days. Woolly socks 10 months of the year, etc.

On the downpour days I succumb to wellies and over-dungarees.

Oh and usually there's a portable seat lying around somewhere. I've got a posh orthopaedic one which is ever so cushy and comfy.

So yes - I'm usually down on the ground but in comfort. Sigh!Juliet Robertsonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07035975039896986525noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-15932919.post-2759703357844258512012-03-14T12:42:15.081-07:002012-03-14T12:42:15.081-07:00True, true, Tom, and you always articulate it so w...True, true, Tom, and you always articulate it so well. I have noticed lately that i've been standing up more and more in the classroom as well as outside, especially as the children have gotten older. It doesn't matter how old they are, though, they always have to look up to see me (especially me--I'm 5'10"!) so thanks for keeping me mindful of this.

And by the way, the last week my knees, for the first time ever, have begun to hurt. I'm only 34 with many teaching years ahead, so maybe I should invest in those knee pads : )stephanieleahhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09427676919832135865noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-15932919.post-6614713294403170362012-03-14T08:25:43.378-07:002012-03-14T08:25:43.378-07:00Another beautifully written heart-and-soul-filled ...Another beautifully written heart-and-soul-filled post from Teacher Tom. No bulky thing around the knee, they slip into a pocket on the front! I bet if they got wet, you'd never know you were a soggy kneed teacher!

http://www.duluthtrading.com/store/mens/mens-pants/34505.aspxKristenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10220669848111443823noreply@blogger.com
